Virginia Health Department Water Scholorship
This scholarship is funded by the Virginia Health Department and covers student's tuition as funding becomes available. You may be eligible for this scholarship if you are unable to receive Financial Aid. You must apply for Financial Aid before applying for this scholarship. The scholarship will provide funding for the following courses:
ENV110: Introduction to Water and Wastewater Treatment Technology
ENV115: Water Purification
ENV108: Environmental Microbiology
ENV211: Sanitary Biology and Chemistry I-II
NAS 106: Conservation of Natural Resources
CIV246: Water Resources Technology
ENV220: Environmental Problems
ENV227: Environmental Law
CIV240: Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics
ENV190: Coordinated Internship in Water/Wastewater
ENV195: Water Recertification I
ENV295: Water Recertification II
This scholarship is available for Virginia residents only, but there are also other scholarships available at Mountain Empire Community College.
