Endangered Species Act

The Fish and Wildlife Service of the Department of Interior, and the National Marine Fisheries Service of the Department of Commerce are over this act.  The ESA gives these branches the power to prevent the harming of a species under its protection, as well as the preservation of the species' habitat.
